Payment & Cancelation policy for bookings in 2026/2027:
A deposit of 10% of the tour price is required to secure your spot. The deposit is not refundable. We strongly recommend to purchase a travel insurance within 14 days of your booking to secure your investment. 
The remaining 90% of the trip cost is due 120 days before trip start. Cancelations made 119 days or less prior to departure are assessed a cancelation fee of 100% of the trip price, including single room supplements. 
Payment in installments are available. Feel free to reach out to us to discuss your best options. 
For private tours we will arrange an individual payment plan for you.
Travel Insurance

It is mandatory that all our travellers are covered by adequate travel insurance for the duration of the tour. You will have to provide your insurance policy when we start the trip. The insurance needs a minimum medical, evacuation and repatriation coverage of  US$200,000 covering all applicable dates of travel with the Tour Operator. This insurance must cover personal injury and emergency medical expenses. 

ExploraLatinAmerica strongly recommends the purchase of a travel insurance to protect your investment upon paying the deposit. Most insurances require a purchase within 14 days of the first payment.
