Booking & payment terms

After filling out the participation form you will receive a confirmation email from us with further information.

These are our payment terms:
A deposit of 500 USD per person is required to save your spot. Refundable (minus 100 USD tax and transaction fees) up to 90 days
prior to your departure date.
90 days before your departure date, the main payment is due.
Would you like to pay in installments? Write to us and we can talk about your options. No fees or interests apply.
Cancellation policy
If you have to cancel a tour, the following cancellation policy will apply:
(a) If you cancel before 90 days of departure of the tour, you will receive 80% refund of the deposit made to ExploraLatinAmerica.
(b) If you cancel within 89-31 days before departure: 50% of the tour price will be held by ExploraLatinAmerica.
(c) If you cancel 30 or less days before departure: 80% of the tour price will be held by ExploraLatinAmerica.

(d) ExploraLatinAmerica reserves the right to release your spot on the trip if full payment of the tour has not been made 90 days before departure.
Travel Insurance
It is mandatory that all our travellers are covered by adequate travel insurance for the duration of the tour. You will have to provide your insurance policy when we start the trip. The insurance needs a minimum medical, evacuation and repatriation coverage of US$200,000 covering all applicable dates of travel with the Tour Operator. This insurance must cover personal injury and emergency medical expenses.
ExploraLatinAmerica strongly recommends the purchase of a travel insurance to protect your investment upon paying the deposit.
